Great food and service!!! Great seafood selection. The Cherry salad dressing is the bomb. Candice and Debbie go out of their way to make you feel at home. Patio had live music. Just a great time!!

We took our meals to go. It was fast and alot if food. Tasted great!

Fish Camp style restaurant. Seafood is excellent. They make a Cherry Pocket salad dressing which is out of this world. I buy it but the pint to take home. Also use the dressing as a dip for chicken. Their desserts are a good size for sharing. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.

It is not the fanciest restaurant, but the food was excellent. Good service as well. 👍👍

Had dinner with girl friends. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the special bar drinks and desserts. We had to keep trying them as they were spectacular! Service was awesome and Amy was very accommodating. Will be back definitely! Outdoor boat bar and music is a must!

Brought my grandma who's never been before and she couldn't decide what she wanted. Server was super patient and even helped her decide in the end. Great food, decent prices and a fun environment(aside from the people outside looking at you funny like you don't belong there, but that's not the restaurant s fault). Will come back, probably with grandma, she loved their crab cakes.

Found this adorable place 3 years ago. We love it! Never had a meal we didn’t love. And the staff is great. We love Kimi and Aimee and Gloria. They make us feel like family! Really love their lanai and the music is always great fun.

Food is decent. It's a place you go for the atmosphere. It's in the middle of nowhere. The bathrooms are less than desirable (outhouse with running water and electricity and all the bugs). The staff is friendly and the best part of the experience.

Had lunch with a group of 12. Found prices high and size of portions small. Soup bread bowel good but crab cake sandwich not worth eating. Salads very small.

Well this is the definition of 'don't judge a book by its cover'! The building and area around it are very unassuming and look pretty run down but this is a fantastic restaurant. Live music, indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious, all of it was fresh and flavorful. We will definitely come back here again and try something different.

Enjoyed my 83 Birthday celebration here with my new friends. Wow! what an experience. The food was awesome including entertainment. This place knows how to have a great time. You won't be disappointed.

We've been there many times but mostly for dinner, today we went for lunch. Big mistake. Our waitress was rude and horrible when she showed up at the table that is. My fork wasn't clean with what looked like a grain of rice stuck in the tine and no salt, pepper or ketchup on the table. We had to rob an empty table. Then when our food arrived mine was under cooked and soggy. I ordered the shrimp and oyster platter. Exactly 4 shrimp and 5 small oysters. Half the plate were fries. 13.99$ I'm sorry but for that price I expected a few more of each not fries filling the plate. Portion control at it's finest. I was very dissapointed this trip and this is my favorite restaurant.

Neat little spot. Good food and friendly staff. Sundays are fun. Busy but service is very good! Don't be in a rush.

Food is to die for. Get past the decor is not up to your speed and enjoy The magnificent authentic seafood flavors that are coming your way. Gumbo and foods heavy in sauce are the way to go. Thank me later.

Old fishing shack with plenty of ambiance. Love the food. Special Cherry dressing that is so delicious. The carrot cake is awesome.

Never a bad experience. This is one of my favorite hidden Little Gems in my home City. Anytime any of my friends from out of town come to visit they always want to go to Cherry Pocket and I am always down to go. Even their fettuccine is delicious

Fun place with an outdoor patio, bar and music. Our waitress was wonderful and handled our big demanding group very well. The menu is vast, lots of yummy southern staples like hush puppies! Visit this unique Central Florida jem, you will love it!

Looks like a dive, but the food is great, prices are good, and they have good service too. They had a live band when we went and they were really good. Also you can write stuff on a dollar bill and staple it to wall somewhere to comemorate your visit. There were bills all over the place from visitors from every part of the country. I guess the says a lot about the place. We really like it. It's was our 2nd visit there and we are some 900 miles away.

Where do I begin.. First of all it is filthy. French fries on the floor since last month. We were asked to leave our table because people were waiting. Anyway, we haven't been in years because of poor service and than less than desirable food. But, thought we would try again. Bad idea. To many good clean restaurants in area to put up with this . Manager was very rude. Bad choice. Never again!!

GREAT. Place was packed but they were fast and SO accommodating. They helped us get a table that was right by the door for our friend in a wheelchair. Amazing people

It's a dilapidated shack that serves up really good food and cold beer. Locals, tourists, and snowbirds can all happily commingle here. You go once, you will go back

For an authentic rustic experience I suggest you go to Cherry pocket steak and seafood in Lake Wales. I had the grilled catfish and it was very good. We were there on Sunday and it was busy, so the service was a little slow. Don’t pass up this rustic experience!

Our favorite place. Fresh oysters, a best tuna tataki, good full bar, amazing server.

Eaten LOTS of fried CATFISH!! I used to live on the S.E. GULF COAST IN TEXAS! You can't beat the PORTIONS or the TASTE at the CHERRY POCKET! If your taste is ambiance, maybe not for you...... if your taste is in the palate, DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!

Grouper Nuggets and Key West Grouper with Shrimp, Crab and Scallops were fantastic! Absolutely no seasoning on Green Beans even tried to add salt and pepper and would not give them any flavor was disappointed that something so easy was not done well! Wonderful view of the lake!

Little dive bar near Winter Haven. ( Former fish camp, we're told) Once again, the food was delicious! Could not eat it all! Highly recommend this place!

It was not an inviting scene...Go in anyway. We had lunch there today. Totally a fun, welcoming, friendly place I’d never seen before. Food was great. Everyone had fish and enjoyed the down home atmosphere. Mary Jane.

With this being off the main road and in a trailer park, wasn't sure what to expect. Family by day! I was very happy with the food and service. We had hamburgers, boneless chicken wings, and some drinks and it was really good. Social distancing was in effect with tables spaced out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and very friendly staff.

I love this place they have an outside area which is really nice and the food it out of this world. I would recommend this place to anyone

Been coming here for years. With new ownership, prices have gone up and portion size has decreased. Wait staff was not as attentive as other visits. Peanut butter pie is the best. Remains a great step back in time to "old" Florida.

Great place! Had the Seafood nachos with homemade chips! Huge shrimp with tons of crab in a thick cheese sauce. Also had the fish sandwich which was very good also. Right on the water with views of the lake while sitting outside. $1 drafts too!

A little dive in the middle of nowhere and a bit pricey but don't let the looks fool you - this dive is worth it - The shrimp $17 was above average. Wings $8 for 4 were par. Crab cakes $20 were extraordinary! Some of the best I ever had. Obviously handmade because stuff this good doesn't come in a box!

Just had dinner, not to busy wait staff was friendly and attentive. Drove a half hour on a referral from a realtor. One dish grouper with there white sauce was poor. Sauce tastes like jar, shrimp had tails on them still, bake potato was old and cold. Grilled grouper was good, sweet potato good, but canned sides and green beans not good. Food could have been hotter. House salad needs to be dryer and a better variety of greens there cherry dressing or house dressing was interesting and sweet. A couple of drinks and out the door 85.00 with tip. Was there at night may be more fun being able to go outside and enjoy the grounds. Maybe would try again but only if in the area not a destination place by no means for a fish dinner. Good luck...

We had a wonderful server,Candae. Drinks were cold and food was delicious. We were entertained with guitar and vocals. Also 2 planes landed for additional entertainment.

I really loved this bar/restaurant! It is out in the middle of nowhere and from the parking lot we thought we made a mistake but we were so wrong. Only had lunch so i never got to try the dinner menu but it was the best fried catfish and grouper bites i have ever had.post a dollar bill on the wall to leave your mark. Enjoyed the experience. sometimes a hole in the wall off the beaten path provides the best experience and food...

Kim and Gloria are the best. Worth the drive from anywhere in Central Florida.
